Friday Summer Waning Crescent मूलाधार chakra AD21
Group run at Mt. Tabor. 9:00 sharp -- sharp as in something sharp cut it in half and I stood far enough away to keep safe. Olivia was later than I, and I wasn't as late as usual. However, by the time I arrived, Jason, Lauren, Daniel, Cody and Isaac were already waiting by the construction which was busy engulfing 60th and Lincoln. It's sunny these days. Smart move making an early run because it could get hot today. Kevin ran up soon after Olivia. Lauren begged me to run with her, though it was pretty much unnecessary, as I'm magnetically attracted to tired and slightly negative females. We approximated the 3k course from the Mt. Tabor race. Three loops for us. I don't know about the others, but I imagine they did something around that. Uncle Jens and Paige were playing tennis and we got to pass them three times and hear about Paige getting roller skis. Sounds ridiculous. But I guess we'll see. Lauren was having a hard time of it, especially on the second run; in all fairness, there are some wicked hills -- kosher with me. The third loop got her into swing, though it is quite creepy to feel how cold she gets when she runs. Every body is different of course.
I went to Patrick's after. He had someone to go hang out with but his dad offered to drive him so we had twenty minutes to chill and waffles with strawberries and... grade B maple syrup -- so amazing; so oblique in the world of the soul. He bounced and I chatted with Barbara about politics. When his dad got back we shot a breeze and then tried to get my tires inflated. It wasn't really working but the genius invention of thread tape saved the day. The pump is sufficiently fuzzy and kosh -- in fact, Doug inflated the tire on his little silver Mazda.

Thursday Summer Waning Gibbous सहस्रार chakra AD20
I cleaned out the freezer. The power went out. A crane hit a power line. I called and fairly quickly learned that if I had not have found out quickly I would have probably noticed the power coming back on before finding out why it hadn't been off. The freezer came about because I'd brought the cooler up in case the food needed to be saved and I decided it was a good time to get the freezer. It's so nice and clean now. Better yet, there's ice and non-perishables filling up the back so there won't be so much junk. Now I just have to figure out the fridge. *shudder* Oh yeah! I also discovered a somewhat old but still gift from god good box of green tea mochi. So delicious, even though the rice coatings were a little brittle.
I ran because such is the way of God. Decided to try and find some new territory. Went South and a bit west. I never really go west of Winterhaven except on the Corridor unless I get as far south as Oaks Bottom. So I got to see some lovely Westmoreland action. There's a funny business for lease at the end of a street in the middle of houses that dead ends at stairs up to the highway or whatever that big street is. Crazy. Crossed back over the traditional overpass {off note but why must I always cough on carrots? the stupid baby ones are the worst amIjusttoofrigginlazytoesophagizeanythingproperly?!} and took a little hook back to twentysomething and meandered home.
